Blue Forest provides deep tech startups with early stage funding. We write tickets ranging from 150.000 to 2.000.000 euros at pre-seed and seed-stages. Blue Forest invests mainly in Europe with selective targets across South-east Asia and North America.

At Blue Forest we take a founder-first approach. The DNA of our company is based on ensuring that we support entrepreneurs every step of the way, whether we invest or not because we know how hard founding a company is. Max
With a diverse decade of experience spanning law, management, and entrepreneurship, Max has built a reputation for tackling complex challenges. A trained lawyer, Max led IBU-tec’s IPO and its largest acquisition to date at a young age. Eager for new challenges, he co-founded Endosane Pharmaceuticals and served as Chief Investment Officer at Sanity Group, both of which continue to thrive. Max graduated from INSEAD’s GEMBA programme in 2024. At his core, Max is a translator. He specializes in understanding intricate ideas and systems, transforming them into commercially viable models. At Blue Forest, Max focuses on helping founders shape compelling equity stories and guides them through the turbulence of early-stage entrepreneurship. Max also leads the development of the firm’s evaluation process.
Moises
With over 15 years of experience as a founder, CEO, board member, and investor in the financial industry, Moisés has established himself as a leading authority in finance. In 2009, he founded a financial institution that provided private and venture debt to 2000+ start-ups and SMEs achieving an industry leading default rate of below 3%. Always seeking new challenges, Moisés pursued INSEAD’s GEMBA programme, graduating in 2024. At Blue Forest, Moisés leads all financial matters—from optimizing internal processes to building predictive models and advising portfolio companies on best financial practices. His deep expertise ensures our targets are well-positioned for sustainable growth.

With extensive experience in M&A, Venture Capital and Startups, Julian brings a global perspective to Blue Forest Ventures. His career began in M&A, focusing on corporate finance and strategic transactions in the industrial sector. He later co- founded SageWealth, serving as Chief Strategy Officer before making the switch to Venture Capital with JOIN Capital. As an Angel Investor Julian has vast exposure to the IndustrialTech ecosystem. Julian holds degrees from various schools including London School of Economics, graduating with distinction. At Blue Forest, Julian leverages his international experience to create a robust dealflow network and support the firm’s investment strategy across Europe.
Boris
With over 15 years of experience in bioinformatics, Boris specializes in extracting complex insights from vast datasets. As a multi-founder and CEO, he brings a sharp focus on data across its entire value chain. At Blue Forest, Boris leads the development of our proprietary automation and predictive analytics capabilities, streamlining the investment process and enhancing decision-making through automation and data-driven insights.
Nicolas
Nic began his career in the startup world after graduating with a first from the University of Manchester. After a three-year stint working together with Max, he joined Blue Forest Ventures as their first employee. At Blue Forest, Nic focuses on origination, partnerships and investment management.
